Description
Appearance of the plant: The Aloe Vera plant has fleshy, green leaves that grow in a rosette shape. The leaves are often provided with small, white dots and have a pointed end. They can have a fleshy texture and are often slightly curved. Flowers come rarely seen indoors and appear in a tall, upright flower stalk with orange or yellow tubular flowers.
Location: The Aloe Vera does best in a sunny location. Place the plant in a spot with bright, indirect light or partial direct sun. Indoors, the plant can tolerate a windowsill or a spot near a window with lots of light. Outdoors, the plant can be placed in a sunny garden or on a patio.
Water requirements: The Aloe Vera has a low water requirement. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out completely before watering again. During the winter months, the water requirement can be further reduced. Make sure the pot is well-drained to prevent root rot.
