Appearance of the plant: The Calathea Flamestar has beautiful, elongated leaves with a striking pattern. The leaves are dark to light green in color, with a beautiful stripe pattern in light and dark shades. The underside of the leaves has a deep purple color, which provides a beautiful contrast. The leaves have a wavy edge and can grow quite large, which gives this plant a full and lush appearance.
Location: This plant thrives best in a spot with indirect sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can bleach the leaves. A light shady spot in the room is ideal, but make sure the plant is not in a dark corner.
Water requirements: The Calathea Flamestar likes a humid environment, but it is important to keep the soil slightly moist without water standing in the pot. Water the plant regularly, ideally once a week, and mist the leaves occasionally to increase humidity.
