Appearance of the plant:
- The Zamioculcas Zamiifolia, also known as the ZZ plant, has glossy, dark green leaves that grow straight up. The leaves are oval in shape and can grow quite large. The plant has a full appearance, and although this plant rarely flowers, the flowers can be white or yellowish when they appear.
- This plant does well in both shaded and bright environments, but avoid direct sunlight. The ZZ plant is ideal for indoor spaces, but can also be placed outside in a sheltered area during warmer weather.
- The Zamioculcas Zamiifolia has a low water requirement. It is important to let the soil dry well between waterings. Watering once every two weeks is usually sufficient, depending on the temperature and humidity in the room.
