Hakonechloa macra , also known as Japanese forest grass, is an elegant ornamental grass with arching, green leaves that turn a beautiful golden yellow in autumn. Ideal as a ground cover in shady gardens, where it provides a soft, undulating structure. Easy to maintain and winter hardy, perfect for bringing some movement and colour to the garden.
